- Statement of Purpose -


To advance the interests of firms owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals;

To foster the overall improvement of the 8 (a) program and other programs designed to assist SDBs;

To gather and disseminate information of benefit to member firms;

To promote the formation of coalitions, between member firms and non-member firms for the purpose of doing business, both within and outside minority-designated programs;

To promote the transition of firms from such programs to the private sector mainstream; and,

To act as a vehicle for the implementation of U.S. government laws, rules and regulations as relates to minority-owned businesses.
